Effective the first day of school for the 2023-2024 school year, all students entering 7th grade are required by the state of Maryland to have one dose of Tdap vaccine AND one dose of Meningococcal vaccine (MCV4).  

Many students may have already received these immunizations, but the HMS Health Room may not have the updated immunization record. 

Please contact your child's healthcare provider or the Health Department (410-313-7500) to schedule an appointment before the start of the 2023-2024 school year to receive the mandatory vaccines and/or send in an updated copy of your child's immunization record to the Health Room.
